Today is Tuesday, December 26th. Today's host Michael Villa lets us know what he gave (and got) for Christmas to help better enjoy his collection of family digital photos.

Then after the break, today's topic is CSS - Cascading Style Sheets and how they have allowed designers to take back the web site.

And as usual, at the end of the show there's a podsafe music selection for your enjoyment.

CSS is also a great way to speed up a web page. Instead of all the code being served for each page, the browser gets it the first time and holds on to it. When done right, lots fewer bytes being repeated. When done right, lots fewer bytes being repeated. ;-)

Eric Meyers (www.meyerweb.com) is usually a good read on the subject of CSS. In 2004, my instructor claimed he could speed up any web page by 50% simply re-doing it with CSS. Modern versions of web page building applications such as Dreamweaver are written with CSS browsers and helpers.
